Tomato and Bacon Soup
4oz diced bacon 1 stick celery 1 lb toms or 1 can toms + 1 can puree 1 carrot 1oz cornflower 1 1/2 pint boiling chicken stock pinch of sugar 6 pepper corns If making in the microwave: Cook bacon for 2 minutes on full power in covered dish add celery, tomatoes and carrots and cook for a further 5 mins blend all the other ingredients and add to covered dish then cook for 5 mins. puree before serving If making on the hob: Fry Bacon first, then add all other ingredients and boil. ENJOY!! :)
