Brownie cookies

12 ounces chocolate chips
½ cup butter
3 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Vanilla
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
¾ cup flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup chocolate chips

 

Melt the 12 ounces of chocolate chips and butter in a sauce pan stirring constantly until melted and well combined and set aside. In a bowl beat the eggs, sugars, vanilla, baking powder and salt on high speed for 5 minutes. Mix in the melted chocolate and mix until it is well combined. Stir in flour and cocoa powder just until combined. Add the ½ cup of chocolate chips and stir well. Cover the batter and chill overnight. Spoon onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and bake at 160 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Leave on cookie sheet for just a few minutes before putting them on a cooling rack.
